Final Days...

We had our 38 week OB appointment on Tuesday (4 days ago) and our last ultrasound before we meet our little guy! Everything is still running smoothly...his heart rate was 155bpm and they estimate him to be right at 8 lbs. My blood pressure is still low, no real aches/pains to speak of, just waiting patiently for him to join us when he is ready...

In the meantime we have been spending lots of time visiting family and exploring St. Louis together. We have been to the Zoo, Science Center, Magic House, Grant's Farm, Busch Stadium, and watched the Blues team practice. It's a blessing that we have the opportunity to do this since it will be quite some time before we can take a vacation!

And something funny....we are staying down the street from Tower Grove Park and have been taking Evan there to let loose in the fountain/spray grounds and playground. Last time we went, a little boy stopped me and asked what was in my belly...

"A baby" I replied.

 "Oh, well when will he be here?"

"I don't know, when do you think he will be here?"

"Ummmm, like 5 years or something..."

"Oh Gee. I hope not, I was thinking like 5 days." :)
